Sunnyvale Seafood is joining the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI) as its latest funding partner.
The move follows the recent additions of US Foods, Nueva Pescanova and Santa Monica Seafoods, also as funding partners.
"We are pleased to welcome Sunnyvale Seafoods, a strong international import and distribution company servicing US customers, to the GSSI partnership," said Herman Wisse, managing director of the GSSI. "Their local US and global positioning in the industry will bolster GSSI’s global non-competitive effort in ensuring clarity, confidence and choice in seafood certification."
