Yes, you've all seen them: omega-3 mayonaisse. Omega-3 eggs. There's a lot of food products trying to ride the coattails of seafood's healthy profile, and the trend just appears to be growing.

The International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organization (IFFO) last week sent out a note to draw attention to the trend, and reinforce what most of us already know, or should know -- fish is still the best source of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.

It's an interesting and timely message.
