Spanish processors rolling out fresh Alaska pollock

Spanish processors will begin trialing fresh Alaska pollock products at retail outlets during the first quarter of 2016.

Spanish processor Scanfisk bought a container of the fish to test new fresh products on the market in March this year, according to Jorge Alonso, sales and marketing director at Scanfisk.

Alonso told IntraFish other processors in the country are also looking into introducing trials at different retailers during 2016.
