South Korean seafood will be exported to China under the integrated brand name of "K-Fish," starting this month, the country’s fisheries ministry of oceans and fisheries said on Sunday.
The K-Fish products include 'gim,' or dried seaweed, oysters, sea cucumbers, brown seaweed and sea tangle, produced by six local seafood companies, reported The Korean Bizwire.
The ministry said it will help businesses participate in food exhibitions and carry out online and offline promotion events in China.
The K-Fish brand will be expanded to other overseas countries in the future, it added.
