Source: Thai giant still in hunt for Iglo

Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), the Thai agribusiness giant that is the largest shrimp farmer in the world, is still one of the interested parties in Iglo Foods Group, a source told IntraFish.

CPF is still one of the interested parties looking at the file, the source said.

“Some people involved say that they are not sure about the motivation of interested parties such as CPF,” he said. “Is the interest genuine, or are they merely trying to get as much intelligence as possible on how a branded business in a mature market operates successfully?”
