A new Greenpeace report ranks Sodexo USA as tops when it comes to having effective sustainable seafood policies.

However, of the 15 US foodservice companies ranked by the NGO, none scored high enough to reach the rankings highest levels and 12 of the 15 scored at the lowest end of the ranking's scale.

The report, which was pre-empted last week by a warning from industry trade group the National Fisheries Institute (NFI), evaluates the seafood sustainability practics of Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group, Compass Group USA, Aramark, Sodexo USA, Gordon Food Service, Delaware North, Food Services of America, Shamrock Foods, Maines Paper & Food Service, AVI Foodsystems, Elior North America, Reinhart Foodservice and Centerplate.
