It isn’t something we see as a modern problem. But think again. That slavery is alive, well and prospering in the 21st century as part of a functioning business model in many parts of the world is a deeply disturbing fact.

It isn’t exclusively the fishing industry’s problem. It affects the businesses of construction, food production, textiles, domestic service and much else, not to mention the murky world of the sex industry.
