Grimsby based seafood processor Seachill is appointing Claire Daly as its new technical director to replace long-serving Nigel Edwards.

Daly joins from New England Seafoods where she has been technical director since November 2017. Before that she was senior technical director at supermarket Morrisons for nearly six years.

Meanwhile Edwards will move to the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) director at Seachill’s parent company, Hilton Food Group.

He has been at Seachill – formerly Icelandic Group – for the past 21 years, first as sustainability director and then as technical director.
