Martin Cooke told the Alpharma conference in Inverness yesterday: "One of the problems with the salmon industry in Scotland is that there's no one voice speaking for the sector. This is very different from the situation we find ourselves in with meat producers. My advice to the industry would be: resolve your differences and have everyone within a single scheme. This would be very much to your advantage."
Customer main consideration Mr Cooke had told delegates that a single consideration is the main driver of Tesco's policy - customers' needs and preferences.
