Santa Monica Seafood acquired fresh and frozen seafood distributor Central Coast Seafood Company on Friday.
The Atascadero, California-based company will add both purchasing power and delivery reach to Santa Monica’s sales and delivery forces, which service southern and central California and the greater Las Vegas and Phoenix areas, Santa Monica Seafood said on Monday.
Central Coast, which has been family owned and operated since 1973, will remain a separate, wholly-owned entity in its existing facility and will continue to do business under its own name.
