In early 2010 there will be a report containing the production data of the Chilean salmon industry that will include harvesting and production data and other information, SalmonChile CEO Carlos Odebret told IntraFish.
A report of this kind does not currently exist, as SalmonChile only issues monthly reports containing export figures that are delivered to companies that are members of SalmonChile, but not to the press or other entities.
In regard to the systematization of production and sanitary data, Odebret said companies and various players in the salmon cluster are arranging to work in collaboration.
