IntraFish has talked with six sources. They report that the price per kilo on the spot market is a few kroner down for the fish to be harvested and delivered next week.
Prices are around NOK 40 (€5.2/$6.8) freight onboard (FOB).
Salmon over six kilos are selling for NOK 37 (€4.80/$6.30) to NOK 38.50 (€5/$6.60) from plants in the north.
Small fish, from two kilos to three kilos, are selling for between NOK 34 (€4.40/$5.80) and NOK 36 (€4.70/$6.10).
“There are big differences. But 80 percent is perhaps industrial size, from three to six kilos.
