Salmon prices still falling

Last week, IntraFish reported that salmon prices for this week’s sales had dropped to around NOK 39 (€5/$7.10) to NOK 40 (€5.10/$7.20) per kilo.

That represented a drop of NOK 1 (€0.13/$0.18) to NOK 2 (€0.25/$0.36) per kilo from the previous week.

Now it seems that prices are falling even more for next week’s sales, with salon selling for NOK 37 (€4.70/$6.70) to NOK 38 (€4.80/$6.90) per kilo.

That said, exporters and producers that IntraFish spoke to disagreed over the extent of the drop.
