Last Friday, Aug. 5, IntraFish reported that farmed salmon prices for the closing week were at NOK 26 (€3.3/$4.7) to NOK 27 (€3.4/$4.9) per kilo.
Today our sources are reporting a similar price picture for next week’s sales (Aug. 15-21).
At the same time, many said that the market was hesitant. Most buyers have not finished their purchases yet.
One producer in northern Norway said prices were at NOK 25 (€3.2/$4.5) per kilo for fish of 3 to 4 kilos, and NOK 25 (€3.2/$4.5)
