The average price for Norwegian salmon dropped slightly last week to NOK 44.22 (€5.60/$7.20) per kilogram from NOK 45.12 (€5.70/$7.30) in the week prior, according to statistics by the Norwegian Seafood Federation (FHL).
While 1-2kg-sized salmon saw an increase to NOK 30.42 (€3.90/$4.90) -- and also bigger sizes gained in weight -- the prices for 2-3kg and 3-4kg dropped slightly, as shown in the table below.
