On March 4, IntraFish reported that prices were holding at well above NOK 40 (€5.1/$7.1) per kilo.
For next week, it seems prices will be mainly below that level, according to observations gathered from Norwegian salmon exporters and producers.
"The price is going down," one exporter said.
According to him and another exporter, prices today have averaged:
- For fish of 3-6 kilos: NOK 39 (€4.9/$6.9) per kilo
- For fish of 3-4 kilos: NOK 37 (€4.7/$6.5) to NOK 38 (€4.8/$6.7) per kilo
- For fish of more than 6 kilos: NOK 39 (€4.9/$6.9)
