Prices of fresh Norwegian salmon appear stable for next week’s deliveries, with prices not dropping as feared by some.
However, industry players contacted by IntraFish this Friday reported varying prices as the market appears to not have fully set yet.
One exporter said prices were at NOK 22 (€2.88/$3.78) to NOK 24 (€3.14/$4.12) per kilo for fish of 3 to 6 kilos delivered in Oslo.
Fish of more than 6 kilos are selling for less, at NOK 20 (€2.61/$3.44) to NOK 22 (€2.88/$3.78)
