According to these Norwegian salmon exporters, the price of salmon under four kilos is likely to drop the week of July 12-18 due to a generous supply.
This is especially true for salmon below three kilos, which could fall by up to NOK 5 (€0.62/$0.78), they said.
However, the overall decline will be slight as the price of salmon weighing four kilos to five kilos is likely to remain stable, while prices for larger salmon will increase -- this time due to a shortage of supply.
