Norwegian news agency TDN Finans claim the price is stable – at NOK 3 (€0.38/$0.5) lower than last week when the 3-6 pound salmon was reported at around NOK 46 (€5.8/$7.7) per kilogram.
”There will be a correction down on salmon. Many players are sitting on the fence a bit now after last week's high level and not very many transactions have been made yet,” a source told TDN Finans Friday.
The source added that the marked price rise up until last week was due to a generational shift where the fish have not grown enough in the winter due to low water temperatures.
