Salmon prices fall for eighth consecutive week

That is NOK 1 (€0.13/$0.18) to NOK 2 (€0.25/$0.36) lower than last week, continuing the falling trend of the eight weeks, according to IntraFish’s weekly roundup on the salmon price.

The exporters and producers speaking to IntraFish this Friday, June 17, said prices for salmon sales in the week of June 20 were down to NOK 29 (€3.69/$5.22) per kilo, depending on the origin and size.

”It’s a buyers’ market. They have a lot of fish to choose from,” one exporter told IntraFish.

According
