Salmon prices fall as sea lice floods market with small fish

Salmon prices are falling by up to NOK 3 ($0.37/€0.33) per kilo, according to industry sources IntraFish spoke to.

"Prices are falling, that's for sure. Many lost money on the fish they bought last Friday, and are hesitant," one foreign trader told Intrafish.

Where prices will go is unclear, he said, adding that he guessed it would be a "drop of NOK 2 (€0.22/$0.25) - NOK 4 (€0.44/$0.50).

One western  Norwegian  exporter told IntraFish he believes prices will see an average fall of NOK 3 ($0.37/€0.33)
