the development of a potential vaccine against salmon sea lice is underway, but when it will arrive is uncertain. It could still take years, said Frank Nilsen, professor for fish health at the Institute for Biology at the University of Bergen.
Nilsen, who heads the university’s sea lice research center, updated the industry on the status quo for vaccines at last week's Sjomatdagene conference in Trondheim.
He has around 40 researchers, technicians and students -- although not all are full-time -- on the case.
After
