In May, IntraFish reported that 2010 was a record year for Seaborn. Over the year, the group sold more than 53,000 metric tons of salmon and trout from Norway, with sales totalling an all-time high of NOK 2.3 billion (€295.3 million/$428.3 million).
The operating profit reached NOK 44 million (€5.6 million/$8.2 million), resulting in an operating margin of 1.23 percent.
That is the third best margin in the company’s 10-year history.
