Russian giant appoints new MDs for Asia, Europe

Russian seafood giant Norebo Holding appointed two new managing directors for its European and Asian divisions, the company told IntraFish.

Sturlaugur Haraldsson has been promoted to the position of managing director for the company’s operations in Europe and the United States -- where the company was previously known as Ocean Trawlers -- while Yuri Satsky will head up operations in Norebo Asia.

Haraldsson was previously vice president of fillet sales for the company, based in the United Kingdom.

Stephen Collyer, the former MD for Ocean Trawlers/Norebo across Europe, the US and Asia, resigned two weeks ago, Haraldsson told IntraFish, after serving eight years in the role.
