Russian wild harvest giant Russian Fishery Company (RFC) is continuing its aggressive drive into single-frozen pollock production, with an even higher percentage of fillet output expected for the 2018 season than previously projected.

Russian Fishery began fillet production in 2015, and since that time has embarked on a fleet modernization that has equipped five of its 14 vessels with frozen-at-sea fillet capacity. The company plans on shifting over a total of as many as 11 vessels to having fillet capacity, RussianFishery Corporate Communications Director Dmitry Kravchenko toldIntraFish.
