RMD-L, a fully owned subsidiary of Russian Fishery Company, gained approval by Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to acquire a 100 percent stake in Vladivostok-based DMP-RM, a sister arm of Dalmoreproduct Holding company.
DMP-RM is a harvesting company operating in the Sea of Okhotsk, the Bering Sea and the Sea of Japan.
DMP-RM holds an overall pollock quota of 60,924 metric tons and 12,218 metric tons of Pacific herring for 2016.
According to the Russian Far Eastern Zolotoi Rog publication, the company supplies more than 80 percent of its catches to foreign markets.
