A former Royal Greenland executive is to join Polar Seafood as chairman and look at options for the future development of the business, both in terms of operation and ownership.
Henrik Leth, who was vice president of Greenlandic state-owned Royal Greenland from May 1995 to June 2007 and also was on the board of Icelandic Group from April 2008 to September 2011, is to start as chairman of fishing and processing company Polar in May.
“I see a chance to develop the Polar business both in Greenland and also in Europe,” he told IntraFish.
