The ongoing US-China trade war is showing dramatic shifts in trade flows, despite exceptions for reprocessing negotiated by the US, but the change has been by degrees as exporters on both sides have found new homes for their product, Gorjan Nikolik, senior global specialist in seafood for RaboResearch Food and Agribusiness told IntraFish.

Seafood trade between China and the United States is already down by up to 30 percent on both sides, with expectations that this decline will only continue.
