Portland Seafood Company is opening a new restaurant in Portland inspired by the casual, seafood-friendly nature of the U.S. northwestern region.

Part of the Restaurants Unlimited family, it will focus on “fresh, simply prepared, big-flavored dishes” and an “authentic dockside vibe,” the company said.

It will be open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner, serving a range of seafood options, from Penn Cove oysters to Pacific Coast Dungeness crab to Atlantic Quahog clams. The restaurant has taken over the previous Newport Seafood Grill location in 6,400 square foot space in a mall in southeast Portland.
