Polish salmon processor Limito has seen one of its largest contracts terminated in Germany amid soaring salmon prices.
Pawel Nowakowski, managing director of sales and marketing at Limito confirmed to IntraFish that one of its largest contracts with a German retailer, accounting for around 40 percent of the company’s business, has been “terminated."
Nowakowski was unable to confirm the name of the company, but said it was an indirect contract with a retailer via a distibutor.
Limito serves a range of customers across Europe, and in Germany has counted Aldi Sud, Aldi Nord and Norma as customers, among other retailers.
