Greenland-based firm Polar Seafood reported a slightly weaker fiscal year in 2018, despite a rise in its full-year net profit.

Net profit for the company’s activities grew just under 30 percent to DKK 117 million (€15.7 million/$17.5 million) in 2018 compared to the year before, however, execs refused to comment on the drivers for better performance.

Earlier in March, the company announced building a new shrimp factory trawler along with Qajaq Trawl in Vigo, Spain, for its operations in the Arctic waters.
