Turkish group Pinar, which is a subsidiary of Yasar Group, processes around 33,000 metric tons of fish annually -- mainly seabass, seabream as well as anchovies and sardines.
The company supplies its products to both the domestic and exports markets, which include Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Libya, Hong Kong and the United States.
IntraFish got an exclusive tour through the firm's three year-old 330,000-square meter processing facility in Izmir, which is mainly producing for the domestic market, largely sold under the Pinar brand.
