Taking place at the Roosevelt Hotel, and sponsored by DNB, top executives discussed how investment opportunities in the seafood sector can play a key role in ensuring the security and sustainability of the world's food supply and meet other challenges.
Senior executives of Nutreco, Marine Harvest, High Liner Foods, Multiexport Foods, AquaChile, Paine & Partners, Permira, EKO Asset Management Partners, Biomar, Bakkafrost, Kverva, The World Bank, AGR Partners, the Clinton Global Initiative, Oceana Group and Cooke Aquaculture attended the event.
Talks evolved around opportunities in the aquaculture feed sector, sustainable investment in seafood, and private equity investments in seafood.
Several companies presentations -- including by Grobest, Nutreco, AquaChile and Cooke Aquaculture -- gave for a full day.
