Frozen fish finger processor Pickenpack is being tight-lipped about the future of its Luneburg plant, after news reports emerged this month that at least 65 full-time employees will be let go.
Employees are now urging the German management to announce if the plant will continue to operate or be relocated to the more modern The Seafood Traders (TST) plant in Riepe.
"We are very concerned about what is going to happen to the plant," Wolfgang Ries, representative of the worker's association at the site, told IntraFish on Thursday.
