Annegret Kattau-Keck, managing director at Pickenpack Europe, is stepping down from her role by the end of the year, a source close to the company told IntraFish.
She is leaving the company "for personal reasons," the source said, and her departure is not down to her performance or the new structure of the processor.
So far, no replacement has been found.
Major clients, including buyers at Germany's leading retail chains, were informed on Monday this week.
Kattau-Keck is not taking on another job, and is leaving the frozen fish finger industry "for good -- for now -- with mixed feelings," the source said.
