Pescapuerta confirmed in February it would close the Elmar Congelados y Derivados factory in Leon, but seems to have gone back on this.
The company had said 110 workers would be dismissed and compensated as a result of the closure, but is now processing again in the plant.
According to local media reports, the factory is back in production and the company will produce 40,000 kilos this month.
The longer term future of the plant is uncertain, according to the local reports.
Pescapuerta did not return requests for comment from IntraFish.
