Pescanova and a number of trade unions started negotiations to implement various agreements reached following the strikes carried out by workers earlier this year, reports Faro de Vigo.
The main aim of the agreement is to safeguard jobs and maintain stability in production.
Primarily, the company is looking to protect activity in its production facilities in order to ensure the delivery of products to key clients such as Mercadona.
"Hours worked to meet pressing orders from key clients outside the normal working hours will be considered extraordinary," the proposal said.
