Mitchell Presser, one of the founding partners of private equity firm Paine & Partners, has left his post, joining as a new partner at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US in September.
At Freshfields, he is heading the firm's M&A practice, focusing on global transactions, including M&A and leveraged buyouts for international corporations and financial institutions, Presser's LinkedIn profile reveals.
Presser joined Freshfields after seven years and nine months at Paine & Partners.
Prior to that, he was a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where he concentrated on M&A, private equity, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance and securities law matters.
