Long-time top exec Joo Siang Ng is stepping down from his post as vice-chairman and managing director at Pacific Andes International Holdings immediately, the company announced Tuesday.
Jessie Puay Yee Ng took over for him as new managing director on Dec. 14.
Joo Siang Ng, who has been managing director of the frozen giant since 1993 and vice-chairman since 2007, will continue to act as advisor to the company.
He was leading the development of the company "from a small fish trading business into a global seafood business with operations across all continents," the Hong Kong-listed company said in a statement.
