Andres Fletcher, CEO of $150 million turnover Chilean salmon farmer Ventisqueros, sees organic rather than acquisitive growth as the most viable way to grow the company he runs.

There is much talk of the need for consolidation in Chile, with Norwegian companies and South American firms looking at the sector.

Although further consolidation of the sector is likely, Ventisqueros does not plan to go on the hunt for deals, said Fletcher.
