The Balteskard family which owns Northern Lights Salmon has hired the Bergen-based lawyer Tom Stemre to advise it on its planned sale of the company.
“The number of interested parties is as anticipated,” Stemre told IntraFish. The lawyer would not comment further on the number or nature of interested parties, merely saying: “Normally buyers are concerned with finding synergies with inherent activity.”
Northern Lights Salmon owns four farming licenses in Skanland and Troms in northern Norway. The salmon producers Nordlaks, Leroy, Morpol and SalMar also have operations in these regions.
