Following a lengthy tussle with the mayor of London, who wanted the land to build the new Olympic 2012 site, a deal was made and Forman was able to relocate the site to Fish Island at a brand-new premises a stone's throw from the new Olympic development taking shape for the Games.

Now, with the new plant up and running again, H. Forman & Son is turning three to four metric tons of fresh salmon into high-end smoked fare for restaurants owned by Gordon Ramsay, stores such as Fortnum & Mason, and the House of Lords.
