NSEC will open the office on Sept. 1, prompted by a rise in salmon exports from Norway to the United States. .
“We have examined conditions in several other cities, including New York and Washington D.C., but found out that Boston is the most appropriate place," said Borge Gronbech of NSEC, who will lead the office.
Though it currently has no office facilities in place, Gronbech expects the situation will be clarified over August.
It is possible NSEC will share an office with Innovation Norway, he said.
