November was yet another big month for seafood news across the world. It was marked by bold moves by salmon and feed giants, some of the most important quota announcements of the year and, of course, more news on the merger and acquisitions front that will shake up the Chilean salmon industry.

In addition, IntraFish journalists were on the road again covering the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo (CFSE) and bringing live stories to our audience in English and Mandarin, as well as Taiwan’s largest seafood show.

IntraFish also put together a shrimp buyer panel with an exclusive line-up of speakers including John Liu of Alibaba's supply chain subsidiary Win-Chain, who gave the keynote speech.

Towards the end of the month, IntraFish broke the news of the well-anticipated but still ground-breaking news of the stocking of the first Atlantic salmon eggs at a land-based salmon operation in Florida, but there were more land-based project announcements in November.
