Norwegian company Nova Sea has acquired the rest of the shares -- 50.2 percent -- in Somna Fiskeoppdrett from previous owner Skarven.
Skarven's share was equally hold among four local owners, including Trond Johannessen, Bjornar Storholm, Somna Vekst, and SHHA Invest og Eiendom.
Somna Fiskeoppdrett has two production licenses, which the company was allocated in 2003. It also has a subsidiary, Vik Fiskeoppdrett, which has one production license received during the 2009 allocation round.
Figures by the Bronnoysund National Register show sales for Somna Fiskeoppdrett dropped radically in 2011 compared with the previous year.
