Anne Sonesson is joining Norwegian research institution Nofima as research director for its breeding and genetics division, coming from the position of senior researcher.

She has worked for Nofima since 2002 and holds a PhD from Wageningen University.

The breeding and genetics division of Nofima provides national and international services for the development of aquaculture, particularly by the use of research focused on genomic information.

The department houses 11 researchers from eight countries.
