The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) will be increasing exposure in Japan with a media campaign that will span several Japanese channels, the council announced in a press release. Plans are still taking shape, but the campaign is set to launch mid-October and will last until January.

The marketing effort aims to take advantage of Japan's salmon day, November 11.

The competition within the market for salmon has grown, and within Japan more people are struggling to offer the best salmon.
