Norwegian fresh salmon prices remain on a constant high, and are expected to settle around NOK 36 (€4.9/$6.6) per kilogram Oslo for next week, reported TDN Finans.
"Prices are stable at around NOK 36 (€4.9/$6.6) a kilo. There is small growth, and flexibility in relation to slaughter volumes," Piotr Wingaard, salmon broker at Fish Pool, told TDN Finans.
One exporter confirmed the picture. "Prices are stable at around NOK 36 million (€4.9 million/$6.6 million) per kilogram for farmers in the south," he said.
