The Norwegian Lobster Farm is bouncing back after a challenging few years, and has three potential strategies up its sleeve to re-establish itself as an investable business.
Up until 2011, when its facilities burned down, the company had a semi-commercial scale lobster farm in Norway capable of producing around two to three metric tons of product per year, and claimed to be the only company in the world producing European lobster to market size.
Asbjorn Drengstig, managing director at the Norwegian Lobster Farm, believes with the right investment the industry can reach commercial levels of 500-1,000 metric tons per year by 2020.
