The Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries is ready to sell the state’s shares in Cermaq, but at the same time it said it would consider more attractive offers than the one from Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation.
“It’s positive that Cermaq has the interest of a considerable international industrial company. This confirms that the Norwegian aquaculture industry has global visibility, scope and acknowledgment,” said Monica Maeland, Norway's minister of trade.
